Students MUST pre-register and pre-pay for all training prior to the course. Registration may be done in person at the American Red Cross Central Georgia Chapter Building located at 195 Holt Ave. Macon, GA 31201, by phone by calling (478) 743-8671. Registration by mail may be done by downloading the Registration Form and mailing it along with payment to American Red Cross Central Georgia Chapter 195 Holt Ave. Macon, GA 31201.
Adult, Child, & Infant CPR/AED and First Aid
Skills covered: Recognizing a medical emergency, treat choking, rescue breathing, CPR (for adults, children, and infants), bandaging, injury prevention, and treating shock/ poisoning/sudden illness. Also included in the course is training to recognize victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Certifications: Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED is valid for 1 year and First Aid is valid for 3 years.
Cost - $65.00 includes training material, book, and administrative fees

Adult CPR/AED/ First Aid
Purpose - This course combines Adult CPR and First Aid Basics into one class.This course prepares individuals to recognize a medical emergency and respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise.Skills covered include: treatment of choking, performing rescue breathing and CPR, bandage and splint, and treat shock/poison/burns, and prevent further injury. Also included in the course is training to recognize victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Certifications:Adult CPR valid 1 year, and First Aid Basics valid 3 years.
Cost - $55.00 includes training material, book, and administrative fees
Time: - 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on all dates.
